Santa Ana, CA – A 33-year-old male bicyclist was killed in a crash at an intersection in Santa Ana Friday evening.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the collision occurred at around 6:20 p.m. near Raitt and Myrtle streets.
The bicyclist was going southbound on Raitt Street when he was struck by a vehicle, police said.
Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver behind the wheel stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The crash remains under investigation.
