A woman reportedly exited her vehicle on the southbound freeway and was hit by at least one vehicle

Tustin, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Tustin on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway at the Tustin Ranch Road off-ramp at about 10 p.m. August 9.
A woman reportedly exited her vehicle on the southbound freeway and was hit by at least one vehicle.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
All lanes were shut down for over two hours as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
