
Berkeley, CA.- One person was killed in a motorcycle collision involving two other vehicles in Berkeley on Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 80 near University Avenue just after 3 p.m. November 30, 2025.
The CHP reported that a Honda Accord, an Acura TSX, and a motorcyclist were involved in the accident in the eastbound lanes of I-80. The circumstances under which the vehicles collided were not immediately determined.
The motorcyclist died in the accident. No other injuries were reported. The other involved drivers stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Multiple lanes on eastbound and westbound I-80 were temporarily shut down for the investigation. The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
