
Arleta, CA.– Five people were injured when a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance carrying two elderly people to a hospital was involved in a crash in Arleta on Sunday night.
According to the LAFD officials, the collision occurred on Woodman Avenue and Chase Street at about 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
The ambulance was transporting a 94-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman to the hospital when it collided with an SUV. It’s unclear what caused the two to collide into each other. The SUV sustained major front-end damage following the accident.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene and blocked the area as they helped the crash victims.
The 34-year-old driver of the SUV was transported with critical injuries. The driver of the ambulance and a passenger in the ambulance were transported with unspecified injuries. The two elderly patients were also transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
