Bremerton, WA.- A woman from Port Orchard was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Bremerton on Tuesday morning.
According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, the incident took place just before noon on Tuesday, October 28, on Highway 3 at Lake Flora Road.
The woman was driving a Honda Civic when she failed to yield while turning left onto the highway and was hit by a northbound flatbed truck.
The driver of the Civic, Amber Cetinel, 29, of Port Orchard, was killed in the accident.
The operator of the truck, a 54-year-old Bremerton man, was unhurt.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to WSP.
The intersection was shut down for hours as authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
The WSP is handling the investigation.
