Kern County, CA – Four people were injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision on State Route 202 in Tehachapi on Tuesday night.
The accident happened at about 8:29 p.m. on May 13 in the area of State Route 202 and Reeves Street.
CHP officers responded to reports of a crash involving a blue Mustang and a red sedan.
According to CHP, the two vehicles collided and a telecommunications pole was knocked down in the process.
CHP said four people sustained minor injuries in the accident. Three patients were transported to Tehachapi hospital and a fourth patient, identified as Amanda Newell, was transported to KMC for injuries to her face.
Edison workers responded to the scene to move the pole that was blocking the roadway to the shoulder.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation is underway.
