Several People Injured in Car Collision at 43rd and Dunlap Avenues in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ. – Three people were seriously injured in a car accident that happened Monday evening near an intersection in west Phoenix, authorities reported.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 7:15 p.m. at 43rd and Dunlap avenues.

Firefighters responded to the scene and found one person trapped inside the wreckage. The firefighters used the jaws of life to free the victim.

Five people were involved in the crash.

Two women and a man were seriously hurt.

Two teenage boys were hospitalized in stable condition.

Details about the cause and manner of the crash were not available.

Police officers are investigating the collision.
