33-Year-Old San Bernardino Man Killed in Apple Valley Crash on Central Road near Pahute Avenue

Apple Valley, CA – A man was killed and a woman seriously hurt in a collision between two vehicles in Apple Valley early Wednesday morning, according to the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Emergency crews responded at around 12:13 a.m. to the crash scene on Central Road, north of Pahute Avenue.

According to the report, a green/white Ford Ranger was heading south on Central Road when it drifted into the northbound side and collided with an oncoming silver Dodge Durango.

The driver of the Ford, a 33-year-old San Bernardino man, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The other driver, a 47-year-old Phelan woman, was airlifted to a trauma center with major injuries and her condition stabilized.

It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
