Phoenix, AZ.- Three women were severely injured in a car accident in Phoenix on Wednesday evening, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Authorities responded at about 8:30 p.m. to the scene of the collision located near 7th Street and McDowell Road.
A dark-colored SUV and a white SUV were involved. The circumstances under which the two collided were unclear.
Firefighters pulled out two women from one of the vehicles.
Three women were reportedly transported to the hospital.
Two of them had life-threatening injuries while the third was in stable condition.
A fourth woman declined medical transport.
The Phoenix Police Department is conducting an investigation to determine what led up to the crash.
