Authorities reported that a rollover accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10
Buckeye, AZ– Three people were killed in a rollover crash that left two others injured on Thursday night in Buckeye, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident was reported at around 9:30 p.m. September 11, on Interstate 10, nearly one mile east of Palo Verde Road.
Authorities reported that a rollover accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10.
The circumstances under which the accident happened were not immediately established.
A man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A woman, a teen, and two children were rushed to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and West Valley Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
Two of the patients reportedly succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.
The eastbound lanes of I-10 were shut down for hours as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
