City Heights, CA.- Three people were injured in a collision involving a San Diego Police Departmento vehicle on Sunday morning in City Heights, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on 43rd Street and Orange Avenue.
A Toyota and the SDPD vehicle collided at the intersection after one of the drivers ran a red light.
The two people riding in the Toyota were both extricated from the vehicle.
They were then transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officer was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
