Orange, CA – A Saturday afternoon motorcycle collision in Orange sent the rider to the hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to Orange Park Boulevard near Hillside Drive after reports of the crash came in around 4:08 p.m. on March 21.

The responders found a motorcycle and a car involved in the crash.

The motorcyclist was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center with minor injuries.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.

According to 2025 SafeTREC and OTS data, the state recorded 583 motorcyclist deaths in 2023, marking a 10.2% decrease from the previous year. Despite this improvement, riders remain significantly overrepresented in traffic violence, accounting for 14% of all road deaths while representing only 3% of registered vehicles.
