Phoenix, AZ – Two people were seriously injured in a Thursday morning traffic collision at Central Avenue in Central Phoenix.
The wreck was reported at Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road at around 5 a.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Responding crews located only two vehicles. However, it was unclear what caused the collision.
Both drivers were transported to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries.
The intersection was closed throughout the morning rush hour and reopened after 11 a.m.
