Oakland, CA – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday evening in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol said.

Authorities received reports of the crash just before 6 p.m. on the southbound State Route 13 to eastbound Interstate 580 connector road.

A Cadillac SUV, a silver Toyota, and a white box truck were involved in the accident, blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.

Paramedics with the Oakland Fire Department transported two parties to Highland Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation by CHP officers.
