A 52-year-old woman driving a Toyota Tundra on Anderholt Road was slowing down at a stop sign at the intersection when she drifted into another lane in front of a Ford Expedition

Imperial County, CA.- Two people were injured in a car accident in Imperial County on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Anderholt and Heber roads at about 6 a.m. February 12.
According to the report, a 52-year-old woman driving a Toyota Tundra on Anderholt Road was slowing down at a stop sign at the intersection when she drifted into another lane in front of a Ford Expedition.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver of the Ford, a 47-year-old man, was taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center with less serious injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
