Just prior to the collision, authorities received reports of a logging truck trailer that was driven erratically on Highway 62

Jackson County, OR.- Two people were injured in a big rig collision in Jackson County on Monday morning, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
The accident occurred at around 10:15 a.m. September 15, on Avenue G near Highway 62.
Just prior to the collision, authorities received reports of a logging truck trailer that was driven erratically on Highway 62.
Shortly after, the rig's trailer rolled over and spilled its load.
The logs crushed a Hyundai Elantra, a Nissan Cargo van, and a Ford F-150.
The driver of the Ford was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The operator of the Hyundai was also transported with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the van was not transported.
Authorities said the driver of the big rig and the trucking company are cooperating with the investigators.
The accident is under investigation.
