Fresno, CA.- Two semi-truck drivers were injured in a collision at an intersection in Southeast Fresno early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at around 2:36 a.m. at Maple and American avenues.
A gas tanker truck collided with a semi-truck and trailer at the intersection for unknown reasons.
At least one of the rigs crashed into an electrical pole, causing power outage in the area.
The drivers were evaluated and were found to have sustained minor injuries.
One of the drivers was transported to a hospital for treatment.
There was fuel spilled as a result of the crash.
All directions of the intersection were shut down for hours as authorities cleared the scene.
The CHP is working to find out what caused the crash.
