A Chevrolet pickup truck was reportedly traveling southbound on Warren Lane at a high rate of speed when it lost control, struck a fire hydrant, and crashed into a parked vehicle

Santa Rosa, CA.- One person was killed in a solo vehicle accident in Santa Rosa early Sunday morning, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
The incident took place near 8th Street and Warren Lane at around 5:33 a.m. November 9.
A Chevrolet pickup truck was reportedly traveling southbound on Warren Lane at a high rate of speed when it lost control, struck a fire hydrant, and crashed into a parked vehicle.
The Santa Rosa Fire Department crews responded to the incident and the driver of the Chevrolet was declared deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The identity of the deceased driver was not immediately disclosed.
The authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
