Santa Ana, CA. – A man died after being struck by a car in Santa Ana on Friday night.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the accident happened in the 200 block of N. Harbor Boulevard at around 7:50 p.m.
A 38-year-old Santa Ana man was crossing the street when he was struck by a car.
Officers and Orange County Fire Authority firefighters responded and found the man lying in the street with major injuries.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Authorities said the driver did not appear to be impaired.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
