According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the accident happened around 10 a.m. in the area of Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Drive.
A bicyclist was reportedly hit by a car in unclear circumstances.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and performed life-saving measures on the man.
Sadly, the unidentified man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
