The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was booked into the Orange County Jail.
Mission Viejo, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a suspected drunk driver in Mission Viejo on Saturday night.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 9:19 p.m. in the area of Pacific Crest Drive and Glenwood Drive.
A 60-year-old woman was found on the ground with severe injuries after being struck by a car.
The unidentified woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
The 18-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was booked into the Orange County Jail.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the accident.
