Ballard, WA.- One person was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Ballard on Wednesday night, according to the authorities.
The crash took place near 15th Avenue NW and NW 70th Street at around 10:18 p.m. October 22.
A 56-year-old man was walking across the road outside of the crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene after the accident.
The Seattle Fire Department provided aid to the pedestrian but the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Police believe the suspect was driving a silver sedan that sustained front-end damage.
The Seattle Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
