Merced County, CA.- One person was killed in a car accident in Merced County on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on Highway 152, east of Dinosaur Point, at about 6 p.m. March 15.
According to CHP, a Nissan was traveling in the No.3 westbound lane when it broke down.
A tractor-trailer that was also westbound failed to stop and slammed into the stalled vehicle.
The Nissan driver was ejected from the vehicle due to the impact of the accident.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver was unhurt and stayed at the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
