Phoenix, AZ.- One person was killed and another injured in a crash that happened near north Phoenix on Tuesday, the Arizona Department of Public Safety reported.
The incident took place on Interstate 17 near Jomax Road on Tuesday, November 18.
According to AZDPS, a Jeep passenger vehicle and another vehicle were involved in the crash.
The impact sent the Jeep off the roadway and it crashed through a fence, then rolled onto its roof.
Authorities declared one person deceased at the scene.
A second party was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The names of the involved parties were not immediately disclosed.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
