One person injured in two-car accident on 580 Freeway near 80 Freeway in Oakland
Oakland, CA. – Authorities are investigating a car accident that happened in Oakland on Friday afternoon.
The accident was reported around 1:04 p.m. on Interstate 580 Freeway near 80 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Hyundai Elantra and a white SUV were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was hospitalized in unknown condition.
