According to the report, a Tesla Model Y was traveling easbound on El Cajon Boulevard when it tried to make a left turn at the intersection and collided with a Honda Civic traveling westbound
El Cerrito, CA.- One person was injured in a crash involving a Tesla in El Cerrito on Friday night, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The incident took place on Dayton Street and El Cajon Boulevard at around 8:30 p.m. October 18.
According to the report, a Tesla Model Y was traveling easbound on El Cajon Boulevard when it tried to make a left turn at the intersection and collided with a Honda Civic traveling westbound.
The driver of the Honda, a 24-year-old, was transported to a hospital with a lacerated liver and a fractured left femur.
The San Diego police reported that impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
