A man on probation for another felony charge led officers on a brief chase before crashing into two cars near the intersection.
El Monte, CA.- One person was injured when a chase ended in a multi-vehicle crash in El Monte on Tuesday night, according to the El Monte Police Department.
The wreck took place near Santa Anita and East Garvey Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. October 21.

One of the vehicles rolled onto its side following the crash.
One of the involved parties was injured in the crash but declined medical attention.
The suspect was taken into custody after the accident.
The incident remained under investigation.
