El Monte, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Sunday evening in El Monte, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident transpired around 7:47 p.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway, just west of Santa Anita Avenue.
A Honda Civic and another vehicle were involved in the crash.
At least one person complained of pain after the collision. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and took the patient to Greater E Monte Community Hospital for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
