Amador County, CA – One person was killed and another was injured Monday evening in a head-on collision in Pine Grove, Amador County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal collision happened around 7:00 p.m. on October 13 in the area of Aqueduct Grove Road and Highway 88.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.
Two people were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The collision closed Highway 88.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
