Fontana, CA – One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic collision involving a BMW and a semi-truck on Interstate 10 in Fontana, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported around 1:35 p.m. on September 22 on westbound I-10 near Cherry Avenue.

The vehicles involved were a BMW and a semi-truck. According to the CHP, a woman, identified as 25-year-old Brenda Luna, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Several lanes were affected during the response. By about 2:24 p.m., the No. 2 and No. 3 lanes had reopened, while the No. 1 Lane remained temporarily blocked.

The cause of the collision was not immediately released.
