Lodi, CA – One person was killed after two pickup trucks and two semi-trucks collided on southbound Highway 99 north of Lodi Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on southbound Highway 99 south of Jahant Road sometime before 1 p.m. Wednesday. The freeway was subsequently closed.
The circumstances leading up to the four-vehicle crash were not immediately available.
One driver died in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The three other drivers involved in the collision were not hurt, according to the CHP. No arrests were reported.
