The preliminary investigation found that a gray 2012 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Highway 99 when it veered off the east side of the highway

Bakersfield. CA – The Kern County Coroner's Office has released the identity of a man who died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 99 in Bakersfield on Thursday morning.
The coroner identified the victime as Jesus Bravo, a 23-year-old McFarland resident.
Investigators said Bravo was driving a gray 2012 Toyota Camry northbound on Hwy. 99 when, for some reas0n, he crashed intoa guardrail on the east shoulder near Golden State Avenue. Bravo then crashed into the center divider and came to rest.
Bravo sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

Bakersfield, CA.– One person was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 99 in Bakersfield Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at about 9:56 a.m. October 17, south of Golden State Boulevard.
The preliminary investigation found that a gray 2012 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Highway 99 when it veered off the east side of the highway.
The Camry struck a metal guardrail, then crashed into the center divider wall.
The male driver of the Camry was pronounced dead at the scene.
The No.1 and No.2 lanes were shut down for nearly three hours as authorities investigated the accident.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
