Livermore, CA. – At least one person suffered major injuries in a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 580 in Livermore Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:17 p.m. Monday on eastbound I-580 just west of First Street. The initial reports involved a dark blue pickup truck and two other vehicles.
According to the CHP incident log, a silver Jeep, a red pickup truck and a third vehicle were involved in the collision.
CHP officials said at least one person sustained major injuries. The occupants of the silver Jeep were initially reported to have no injuries, while the driver of the reporting vehicle advised that injuries were present.
