Preliminary reports indicate that a Franklin County man was driving a pickup truck when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Booker Road and the pickup truck was hit by a semi-truck.

Adams County, WA – One man was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Tuesday morning near Othello in Adams County.
According to a Washington State Patrol report, the wreck happened at about 10:45 a.m. July 28, on State Route 26, nearly 5 miles east of Othello.
Preliminary reports indicate that a Franklin County man was driving a pickup truck when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Booker Road and the pickup truck was hit by a semi-truck.
The driver of the pickup, identified as Glen E. Bridgmon, 69, of Pasco, was killed in the collision.
The operator of the semi-truck, Andres Lozada-Rojas, 26, of Vancouver, was flown to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland with serious injuries.
According to WSP, impairment was not belived to have factored in the collision.
The highway was shut down for hours as authorities investigated the accident.
An investigation by the Washington State Patrol is still ongoing.
