Walla Walla County, WA- 2 Men Injured in Big Rig Accident on U.S. Highway 12 

According to the investigators, Briant O. Alvarado Solis, 23, of Sunnyside, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck when he crashed into a 1993 Peterbilt semi-truck.

Walla Walla County, WA – Two men were injured in a traffic collision that happened near College Place in Walla Walla County on Friday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The wreck happened at about 10:10 p.m. July 24, on U.S. Highway 12 near milepost 320.

According to the investigators, Briant O. Alvarado Solis, 23, of Sunnyside, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck when he crashed into a 1993 Peterbilt semi-truck.

Solis and a passenger in his vehicle, Nathan T. Barrett, 24, of Richland, were both taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The driver of the big rig was not injured in the accident.

According to the CHP, following too closely was believed to have played a role in the accident.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
