According to the authorities, a driver failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and collided with the MCSO transport vehicle

Maricopa County, AZ – Four people were injured in a collision involving a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office inmate transport vehicle on Friday night in Phoenix, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at about 11:14 p.m. July 24, on 19th Avenue and Interstate 17.
According to the authorities, a driver failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and collided with the MCSO transport vehicle.
A deputy and three inmates were transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
There were no additional details on the accident.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the crash.
