Through investigation, CHP learned that a bicyclist was riding southbound on SR 35 when he was hit by a northbound Porsche driver that failed to negotiate a curved section of the highway.

Woodside, CA – An East Palo Alto man was hit and killed by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Woodside on Saturday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. July 11, on State Route 35, also known as Skyline Boulevard.
Through investigation, CHP learned that a bicyclist was riding southbound on SR 35 when he was hit by a northbound Porsche driver that failed to negotiate a curved section of the highway.
The bicyclist was declared deceased at the scene. The victim has since been identified as Jakub Solovsky, 34, of East Palo Alto.
The involved driver, who remained unidentified, was not injured and stayed at the scene after the collision.
According to CHP, neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to have been a contributing factor in the accident.
The collision remains under investigation and additional details are expected to be released.
