Delano, CA – One person suffered major injuries in a collision involving a sedan and a farm tractor on Wednesday afternoon near Delano, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:04 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 8 and Road 152.
Responding crews reported that one person sustained major head injuries but remained conscious. SkyLife air ambulance was dispatched to the scene and landed nearby to transport the patient.
Tow trucks were requested for both involved vehicles, although the request for the tractor was later canceled.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
