The collision happened at about 5:27 p.m. Monday, June 15, on Cajon Boulevard, just north of Kenwood Avenue
San Bernardino, CA – A 19-year-old man suffered major injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Cajon Boulevard in San Bernardino on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at approximately 5:27 p.m. on June 15 on Cajon Boulevard, just north of Kenwood Avenue, and involved a white work truck, a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, and a gray pickup truck.
Investigators said the work truck and the black Dodge Ram collided, and one of the vehicles went over the right side of the roadway. The Dodge Ram came to rest in the traffic lanes, blocking northbound traffic.
A 19-year-old male sustained major injuries in the crash. CHP reports indicated the teen was semi-conscious when emergency responders arrived at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity. It was also unclear whether other parties involved in the collision were hurt.
Firefighters, paramedics, and CHP officers responded to the scene to provide medical aid and investigate the crash. Tow crews were later called to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information has been released regarding the incident.
