Los Gatos, CA – One person suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 85 in Los Gatos on Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at approximately 3:11 p.m. Monday on southbound State Route 85 near the Bascom Avenue off-ramp.
CHP officials said a white Volvo sedan and a white construction truck were involved in the crash.
One person sustained major injuries in the crash. Emergency responders reported that the victim, a female party, was conscious but bleeding from the nose. Authorities also indicated the injured person had been trapped inside a vehicle before being freed.
Firefighters, paramedics, and California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the injured victim. Tow crews were later called to remove the damaged Volvo sedan from the roadway.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information regarding the injured victim has been released
