Riverside, CA – At least one person was severely hurt in a car collision that happened early Sunday morning on State Route 60 in Riverside.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the wreck transpired around 4:46 a.m., May 31, on eastbound SR-60 west of Valley Way.
A blue Honda Accord collided with another vehicle, possibly a semi-truck, under unclear circumstances.
One person was trapped inside the Honda. Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the victim. The patient was unresponsive but had a pulse.
At least one person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
All eastbound lanes of SR-60, except the slow lane, were closed following the crash.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
