Hayward, CA – At least one person sustained major injuries in a rollover collision that happened Saturday morning at an intersection in Hayward, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 11:22 a.m. on May 30 in the 2184 block of Grove Way at Dolores Street.
A black Jeep and a silver Toyota Highlander were involved in the crash. One of the cars overturned onto its driver’s side. The vehicles were blocking both directions of traffic after the collision.
Several people were attempting to help the occupant of the overturned vehicle get out.
Firefighters responded shortly after the accident and found the victim out of the car, conscious.
According to the report, at least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
Authorities are investigating to determine what transpired leading to the crash.
