Fresno County, CA – The driver who died following a multi-vehicle collision that happened near Parlier in Fresno County on Wednesday morning has been identified as a 24-year-old Reedley resident.

According to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office, Nathan Lopez was killed in the collision that occurred on Dinuba and Zediker avenues at around 6:40 a.m. March 25.

A report by the California Highway Patrol indicates that a black Hyundai was headed east on Dinuba Avenue when it failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a Toyota Tundra pickup truck traveling southbound on Zediker Avenue. A third vehicle was struck by one of the vehicles.

Lopez, who was driving the Hyundai, had fatal injuries and was confirmed deceased at the scene.

The operator of the Toyota sustained minor injuries. Their identity was not released by the authorities.

There were no additional details on the incident. The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the collision.

Fresno County, CA – A man is dead following a three-vehicle crash on East Dinuba Avenue in Parlier early Wednesday morning, according to authorities.

The fatal collision occurred in the area of 15020 East Dinuba Avenue near Zediker Avenue at approximately 6:41 a.m. on Wednesday.

Preliminary reports indicate that three vehicles, a black Hyundai, a Nissan truck, and an unidentified vehicle, were involved in the crash.

Investigators said the Hyundai was traveling eastbound on Dinuba Avenue when the driver ran a stop sign and was hit by the Nissan truck. The Nissan was heading southbound on Zediker Avenue.

The impact caused the Hyundai to leave the roadway and end up in an orchard, with airbags deployed.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 24-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released. Information regarding additional injuries was not immediately available. No arrests have been reported.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene, and the Fresno County Coroner’s Office was notified.

The crash caused disruptions in the area as emergency crews worked to secure the scene and investigate the incident.
