Glendale, CA – One person was sent to the hospital after two cars collided Friday afternoon in Glendale, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident transpired around 12:17 p.m., February 20, on the westbound State Route 134 near Interstate 5.

According to CHP, a white Toyota Rav4 and a black sedan were involved in the accident.

An off-duty EMT who was in the area before first responders arrived informed authorities that one person sustained a possible broken collarbone.

Emergency personnel responded and transported one person to the hospital in unknown condition.

Both vehicles were towed away from the crash scene.

CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
