Scottsdale, AZ – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision in Scottsdale on Monday morning, according to a report by the Scottsdale Police Department.

Initial reports reveal that three vehicles were involved in the crash east of Scottsdale Road. A Kia Soul involved in the incident also slammed into an AutoZone sign.
Scottsdale police and fire personnel responded to the scene and helped the involved parties.
One person was sent to a hospital and was reportedly listed in critical condition. It’s unclear whether any other people were also injured in the crash.
Both directions of McDowell Road were shut down to traffic at the 74th Street intersection as police investigated the incident and firefighters worked to clear the scene. The closure was expected to be in place for several hours.
