The crash occurred on Interstate 210 eastbound, east of the Miramonte undercrossing, at approximately 5:42 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
CHP officials reported that the driver involved in the collision was Dale Kirk Wintersteen, a 46-year-old resident of Orange County. Specific details regarding the number of vehicles involved and the circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately released.
