Moreno Valley, CA – At least one person sustained major injuries after two vehicles collided early Saturday morning in Moreno Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to CHP, a white sedan and a gray van were involved in the collision. One vehicle ended up blocking the HOV lane, and a passenger in the van was trapped and had difficulty breathing. Preliminary reports indicate the white sedan had been traveling at high speed prior to the crash.
At least two people were transported to a county hospital with major injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.
CHP and emergency responders worked to manage traffic and provide medical assistance. Lanes were temporarily closed while the scene was cleared, and all lanes were reopened by 7:32 a.m.
The crash caused significant delays for early-morning commuters in the area.
