Diana Diaz who was driving one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office

Riverside County, CA. – One person died and four others were hospitalized following a two-car accident early Sunday morning in Moreno Valley.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the accident happened around 5:40 a.m. at the intersection of Perris Boulevard and San Michele Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars crashed into a fire hydrant after the collision.
37-year-old Perris resident Diana Diaz who was driving one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Four people were transported to hospital for treatment. Three patients had major injuries and the fourth had moderate injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
