Phoenix, AZ.- A driver was injured in a suspected DUI crash in Phoenix on Sunday night, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
At about 3:15 a.m., authorities responded to reports of an accident in the area of 7th Street and McDowell Road.
Alenjando Cervantes was reportedly driving near the intersection when, for unknown reasons, he crashed.
Emergency crews extricated Cervantes from the vehicle and rushed him to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
He was later arrested on charges of DUI following the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
