Desert Hot Springs, CA – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle collision in Desert Hot Springs, according to the CHP.
The collision was reported just after 1:45 p.m. on September 8 on Interstate 10 near Indian Canyon Drive.
CHP said a driver exited the off-ramp, for unknown reasons, and crashed into the barrier wall.
The vehicle caught on fire, and the driver had to be pulled out.
The driver was taken to a trauma center in unknown condition.
No additional information was provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
